Utkal University of Culture has invited applications for the post of Vice-Chancellor. The appointment will be made as per UGC norms and the relevant government notifications.
Role & Responsibilities
The Vice-Chancellor will be the academic and administrative head of the University and is expected to:
- Provide strong academic leadership and strategic vision.
- Ensure excellence in teaching, research, and institutional governance.
- Manage overall administration and development of the University.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Outstanding academic record with proven excellence in teaching and research.
- At least 10 years of experience as a Professor in a University, or
- 10 years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed academic, research, or cultural institution with adequate administrative exposure.
- The candidate should be able to serve a full term of 3 years.
- As per University rules, maximum age limit is 65 years.
