GATE Answer Key
GATE 2026 Provisional Answer Key, Master Question Papers, and Candidate Response Sheets were officially released by IIT Guwahati on February 22, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exams held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 can now access these documents via the GOAPS Portal.
How to Download the GATE 2026 Answer Key
To view and download the official answer key and your response sheet, follow these steps:
• Visit the official GATE 2026 website: gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
• Click on the “GOAPS Portal” or “Candidate Login” link.
• Enter your Enrollment ID (or Email Address) and Password.
• Once logged in, click on the link to view the Response Sheet or Master Question Paper and Answer Key.
• Select your specific paper code (e.g., ME, CSE, EE) to download the PDF.
Important Dates:
• Objection Window: Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key through the GOAPS Portal by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹500 per question.
• Final Answer Key: Expected to be released in early March 2026 after reviewing all valid objections.
• Result Declaration: The official GATE 2026 Results will be announced on March 19, 2026.
Scorecard Availability: Qualified candidates can download their scorecards for free from March 27 to May 31, 2026
