📌 What is UPSC OTR (One-Time Registration)?
🔹 One-Time Registration (OTR) was the system used by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for candidates to create a profile once and then use that to apply for various UPSC examinations like CSE (IAS/IPS), IFS, NDA, CDS, IES, CMS, AFCAT, etc.
🔹 However, the old UPSC OTR system has been discontinued as part of a wider overhaul of the application platform. All aspirants are now required to complete a new registration on the updated UPSC online application portal even if they had an existing OTR profile earlier.

🧾 Why You Must Register (Even If You Registered Earlier)
🔹 The old OTR system has been fully replaced by UPSC’s new four-part registration structure.
🔹 Old OTR IDs do not work on the new portal — you must register again on upsconline.nic.in to apply for UPSC CSE 2026 and other exams.
