Firstly, the total Mains Exam marks have been reduced from 250 to 230. This happened due to the Descriptive Test Marks reduction from 50 to 30.

Secondly, permissible exam attempts have been increased by 2 for each category (General/EWS candidates- 6 and OBC candidates- 8, giving the candidates yet another chance to perform.

Thirdly, verification of Aadhaar details have become mandatory.

Fourthly, the annual CTC of SBI PO has been revised from 20.43 lakhs to 21.97 lakhs. Has been the major boost for the candidates.
