The India Post GDS 2026 recruitment process is moving forward steadily. The 1st merit list has already been released, and candidates shortlisted in this list are currently undergoing the Document Verification (DV) process, which is expected to conclude by 23 March 2026.

As per the latest updates, the 2nd merit list is likely to be released shortly after the completion of the DV process. Candidates who were not selected in the first list should stay prepared, as chances remain high for selection in the upcoming list based on vacant seats.
What’s Next?
Once the DV process for the first list is completed, vacant positions (if any) will be filled through the 2nd merit list, which is expected in the last week of March 2026.
